In October 2024, RC Marbella International had the privilege of welcoming representatives from the Westport Rotary Club (District 7980, USA) to strengthen international ties and collaboration.

During their visit, President Goldie James and International Services Chair Lyla Steembergen joined us for a special meeting, where Lyla delivered an insightful presentation on global grants, inspiring both club members and guests.

To celebrate this new partnership, we hosted a memorable friendship dinner at the Marbella Club Hotel, honoring our guests and fostering camaraderie between our clubs. This Friendship Agreement marks the beginning of a meaningful collaboration, where both clubs commit to exchanging ideas, supporting global initiatives, and working together on impactful service projects—all in the true spirit of Service Above Self.

Tri-Friendship Agreements

This agreement represents a commitment to mutual support, fostering stronger bonds between the clubs, and combining efforts to address local and international challenges. By leveraging their collective expertise, resources, and dedication to service, these clubs aim to amplify their impact and make a tangible difference in the lives of those they serve.

RC Marbella International played a key role in organizing and facilitating a historic gathering of three influential Rotary leaders, fostering a united front and a lasting agreement of friendship. Through the leadership and vision of Mr. Reda Lahlou, President of RC Casablanca Oasis, this collaboration brought together:
