The Rotary Little Free Library is a community initiative that promotes literacy and the joy of reading by providing free books to the public. Our first library, located at the German Clinic, offers easy access to books for all ages. Our goal is to expand this project by opening three more libraries by June 2025.

Cataract Project (Morocco)
Rotary Club Casablanca Oasis led a vital medical caravan in Moulay Abdessalam Ben Mchiche, bringing life-changing eye surgeries to those in need. RC Marbella International was honored to take part in this impactful initiative, represented by President Fides Ostbye, Social Media Chair Yovana Rodriguez, and four other delegates from Spain, including Carmen Andreau, Governor elect D 2203 from Spain & her partner René Friedrich.
The caravan provided over 145 cataract surgeries, restoring sight and transforming lives. This effort was made possible thanks to a dedicated medical team led by Dr. Zakarya, the generosity of numerous benefactors, and the collaboration of multiple Rotary Clubs from Morocco and Spain.
Marking its third successful mission in Moulay Abdessalam Ben Mchiche, the caravan also offered circumcision procedures for children, reinforcing its commitment to essential medical care for the community.
Through international cooperation and service, RC Marbella International remains dedicated to supporting humanitarian projects that create real, lasting change.

Rebuilding Hope: Renovation of Dar Atalib & Dar Ataliba
The Dar Atalib and Dar Ataliba dormitories, severely impacted by the Al Haouz earthquake, require urgent renovations to ensure that boys and girls can return to school in a safe environment. This project goes beyond rebuilding—it is about protecting young girls from early marriages by providing them with a secure place to live and continue their education.
During our visit in January 2025, renovation plans were presented to Rotary clubs and districts, fostering valuable discussions on funding strategies. RC Marbella International remains committed to supporting this vital cause on the international stage, ensuring a brighter future for these children.
